Enough with the taxes on cigarettes! They are the most taxed product in history!

The cigarette tax is aimed at only one type of consumer. That is grossly unfair and immoral. Smoking does have some benefits. It is a great stress reliever, much more so than any pill from our truthful friends at the drug companies (just watch out for the suicidal urges from taking them). Do you realize that airline pilots who smoke are still allowed to smoke in the cockpit? Don't want a pilot stressing out at 36,000 feet in the air. Air traffic controllers are also permitted to smoke on the job(very stressful job). Or would you prefer they all start popping Xanex or valium?

Yes, the tobacco industry lied to us. So has every major industry in the world. Yes, smoking does smell. So do people with bad breath - let's tax them too. Born free, taxed to death. Another benefit to smoking: It keeps non-smokers away.
