Gov. John Lynch says the state has set up a new website to help residents address potential mortgage problems.

Lynch says many New Hampshire families are seeing their dreams of home ownership put at risk. He said the new website will help connect families with resources if they are concerned about losing their homes.

The site, at www.HomeHelpNH.org, includes contact information for housing counselors and other options to help people trying to avoid foreclosure.

Foreclosure Help

#1 piece of advice: Don't buy a home that you can't afford. Assume you may lose your job and have at least 6 months of savings to deal with it. If you are living paycheck to paycheck you either are spending too much or need to get a second or third job. It's an unfair world-every person in the last 30 years has had an equal chance to get an education and make something of him or herself.
