The Webster woman charged with severely beating her 8-year-old stepdaughter has been released from jail after a judge lowered her bail because she is pregnant and said to be suffering from a variety of medical conditions. Twenty-nine-year-old Cara LeBlanc is accused of abusing her stepdaughter for nine hours, including throwing her down stairs.
The girl suffered several broken bones and damaged organs.
LeBlanc's bail originally was set at $180,000 in July after she was arrested in Florida. A judge reduced the bail this week to $30,000 after LeBlanc's lawyer, Mark Sisti, reported she was pregnant and ailing.
Many women have their babies in prison and then take it away. She also can get the mental health she needs inside the prison. Also they can monitor the pregancy better, can you imagine what kind of damage she could do to this unborn child? Who is taking care of this one aleady... a child abuser.

This woman should never be allowed out of jail. The only thing she should get is the same sort of treatment she gave to that poor little girl. Once this baby is born she shouldn't even be allowed to hold it - just be taken away from her and put up for adoption to a loving family. I cannot believe this judge has allowed her out of jail!! What the h@#$ was the thinking behind this?? So what she's pregnant and having issues - jails treat inmates all the time and she is no different. She should be sitting in jail and rot there for the rest of her life!! It's just that simple.

This woman is a child beater.
She should have received 20 years in jail.
Let her out because she is sick?
Cara whatever is sick in the head.
She is also a system user.
And we all will have to pay for her.
That is not fair, but what she did to that child is even worse.
The system must change.
Fast!

OMG NH justice system at work - first the addison piece of crap gets free legal services from multiple attorneys and this B%*$# gets out of jail after beating an innocent little girl that she is supposed to be cring for as a parent - this is one of the most ridiculous cases ever. I hope that social service makes sure she is not allowed to keep this baby - she is not even fit to care for any living thing!!!

Funny how this woman had no empathy or compassion for the pain and suffering she inflicted upon her step daugher and yet wants to be treated with empathy for the "discomforts" and "ailments" that she has.
This woman is a disgusting, sadistic, evil monster who clearly knew that what she did was wrong as evidenced from reports that she told her son "don't tell them about the really bad stuff". The only way that justice could really be done is for this woman to be beat and thrown down stairs for 9 hours and suffer all of the abuses that she inflicted upon her step daughter. And having a baby? Clearly this is a woman (and any men and women like her) who needs to be sterilized. The world has enough problems already, without adding more people like her to the mix.

A breeder sow with anger management issues. Have a happy life, kid. Maybe she'll take her wreckage out of state, and save us the tedium of having to deal with yet another embracer of the victim mentality.

You mean this pig is having another baby??? Please don't tell me they are going to let her keep it. I hope somebody roll her down the stairs 7 times like the poor 8 year old was subject to.

You have got to be kidding me. I hope she goes to prison and someone beats her for 9 hours. I have an 8 year old at home and could not think of even spanking my child much less abusing her for 9 hours. The Judge really made a mistake with this choice. I wish i could wipe that smirk off her fat face.

Lets face it.........she going to milk John Q tax payer for her medical needs. She is better off out for now. Everything will cath up with her. She is going to play victim in this case. Just watch and see. She may take the"My dad didnt love me" approach. Or the "oohh poor me, I have substance abuse problems....or wait, I was in bad relationships."

So she can get out because she is preganant and has medical issues well what about the little girl she beat where was her break? She didn't just get to leave because she was in pain!! That is rediculous and look at that smirk on her face....she is disgusting.....no one who can do that to a child deserves to be out of jail!! NO MATTER WHAT pregnant or not

Imagine the type of "Mother" she will be!!! There MUST BE some alternative to lowering bail to keep her incarcerated. Our Judicial system needs to be over hauled and Judges need to FIND THEIR SPINES again. I thoroughly agree with...

Let me see if I understand this right, she needed to be released because of the lack of care for her unborn fetus, but yet she had no problem beating on an innocent 9 year old?
I guess Cara has "care and concern" when it benefits HER.
Cara, you are a disgusting pig who will pay for what you did.
I believe in Justice and you will get yours in due time.
We all need to be patient, justice WILL be served, that's if they ever find her once she runs.

I hope the judge that released her can't sleep at night cause of what he has done. Not only are we as parents suppose to protect the children our court systems are suppose to. How is that little girl suppose to feel safe. I feel that she should rot in jail and the baby should be ripped away from her the second it is born so she doesn't have the chance to hurt it. That women has no remorse or guilt for what she had done or the emotional and physical trauma she has cause the little girl..I guess we can't trust our courts anymore to protect and keep us safe from harm.

Unbelievable!!! As a mom who loves her precious children with all her heart; this woman is beyond an abomination to me!!! I have to agree Cara Le Blance NEEDS to have that baby taken from her the instant it is born. then I fully believe, she should be personally subjected to the same heinous crimes she commited on that poor child, what if someone threw her down the stairs, broke her bones, let some sadistic inmate beat HER for NINE hours straight...then to hades with her. I have NO sympathy for any mother or "step" mother who can commit such a horrible crime onto a small child and be allowed such mercy.

What was that judge thinking? Where is the lawyer for the child? Does this woman at least have an electronic ankle bracelet on so she can't get anywhere near her step daughter?

What about an 8-year old broken and hurt? Who is really suffering here? Gosh, maybe the judge will give her visitation rights to the abused, beaten, and broken child and they could commiserate together. That seems to be the direction this case of "justice" is headed. Then it would be as if nothing happened at all. Or maybe we need to put the child in jail for her own protection from this suffering abuser. If I could stop shaking my head at this utter and depressing nonsence then maybe I would wake up and find this is all a bad dream.

unreal her child should be put up for adoption as soon as he/she is born and she should be put down!!!!

I don't care what diseases she has, animals like her deserve no compassion. Where was that bleeding heart judge and snake Sisti while she spent a day beating a child.

Wow, when are they going to stop calling her actions abuse. It is down right attempted murder!! If it were two adults it would be and the state would definately take it out of the victims options to press charges. So how come a child can be abused for so long and it's only called abuse.???? Also there is no reason under this sun why she can't be treated while in jail for her pregancy. Gee, they treat inmates with mental illness and other physical ailments. What kind of message are we giving other child abusers? Sisti, please do justice, to this child, a favor and have her step mom disapear into the walls of prison.

The liberal judge that reduced her bail should be ashamed. Shouldnt this woman be held accountable? Apparently the liberal judge thinks its okay to abuse a child !
The judge should resign he is clearly a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's pregnant an ailing, but had enough energy to beat a child for 9 hours? I think sitting in a jail cell is much less taxing than beating a child for 9 hours.

Comments are often made about DCYF and thier lack of action for the children within our state that are prisoners in thier own homes by thier own parents. These state workers enter a home of Hell and quickly get the children out to go where? I can personally tell you that there are NOT enough foster homes or people willing to bring an injured, scared, affection starved child into thier homes.
People step-up for the sake of the children who are being raised by MONSTERS..
Cara Leblanc will get whats due to her after her newborn goes into state custody, but who's going to be there for the newborns care...
I'M A PROUD FOSTER PARENT...JOIN ME TO HELP THESE POOR CHILDREN.. THE REQUIREMENTS ARE; A BIG HEART A WARM SMILE AND OPEN ARMS.. N.H. YOU CAN DO THIS

I dont care if she is pregnant or not isnt there some type of facility she can go to? I hope that infant is ripped right from her arms the second it is born. This woman desearves to rot in jail.

With any luck she will overdose and save her victim (step-daughter) from having to testify and relive the abuse, as well as assure the will be no future victims. Her unborn child already has one foot in the grave and is surely doomed if allowed to remain with this monster after birth.
