I try to avoid animals in the road.  Within reason I will do whatever I can to avoid hitting a wild animal, or especially someone’s pet.   But no matter how much I don’t want to hit an animal in the road, I won’t have an accident over it.  If the situation is created that I simply cannot avoid the animal I’m not going to make dangerous… 0

I am all for the idea of sharing the road with runners, bicycles, horses and other non motorized recreation.  As a driver I don't want to be involved in an altercation with another person on the road anyway, but the idea of sharing the road makes sense.  The trouble, however, is the word share.To me sharing infers a two way arrangement.  I will share the road… 0

A Sad Sight on route 101 I came across this driving to work the other day.  Miller State Park is one my personal favourite and it's sad to see things like this happen.
