Hour of Code

In conjunction with the Hour of Code (promoted as part of Computer Science Week), Henniker Community School’s middle school students in the sixth and seventh grade worked with the Scratch programming language. The Hour of Code, sponsored by Code.org, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science in education, was created to try to give every student an opportunity to try computer science for one hour. Trent Dowst and Dwight Childers practice programming on their computers.
