Best Buddies New Hampshire opens statewide office
Following years of planning and fundraising, Best Buddies New Hampshire finally opened its statewide office in early January. The office, located in downtown Concord, will help Best Buddies touch the lives of people with and without disabilities all across New Hampshire.
Volunteers for Best Buddies New Hampshire, which currently has chapters at Dartmouth College, the University of New Hampshire, Phillips Exeter Academy and Londonderry High School, have been working to raise awareness and funds to open a statewide office to help expand the programs to middle schools, high schools and colleges around the state.
Since 2011, Best Buddies New Hampshire has held auctions, tournaments and other fundraisers to help raise awareness and money for the organization. In June, Best Buddies held its second annual Friendship Walk, which drew hundreds of supporters to downtown Concord, and in November the organization hosted its first Masquerade Gala at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.
The office, at 5 Franklin St., will be open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Staff members can be reached at 856-8324 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, visit bestbuddes.org/newhampshire.
