John Stark/Hopkinton robotics team compete

The John Stark/Hopkinton robotics team recently competed in the Granite State District Event at Nashua South High School. The team made it to the quarterfinals and was awarded Safety First pins for their safe practices throughout the competition. The district competition continued the FIRST competitive approach to learning about science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The John Stark team is advised by John Stark teacher Colin Stone and the Hopkinton team by Matt Christie. Three of the John Stark team members had the honor of having their photo taken with Dean Kamen, the founder of the FIRST program.
