Summer reading

The Epsom Public Library invites children of all ages to register for its summer reading program, which takes place from July 7 through Aug. 8. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade can sign up for the “Fizz, Boom, Read” program with arts and crafts, movies, special programs and raffle prizes. Young children and their families can sign up for the “Mom/Dad and Me Read” program. There is also a teen program called “Spark a Reaction” with movies and raffles. Sign-up ends July 2. Library award

The New Hampshire State Library Talking Book Services received the Network Library of the Year award and a $1,000 cash prize from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, part of the Library of Congress.
