Allison Howard, daughter of David and Carolyn Howard, received the Benjamin T. Burton, Chi 1921 scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year from the Psi Upsilon Foundation. She is a senior elementary education major at Keene State College.

Julia Ladd received a scholarship from The Freese Brothers Big Band, which will enable her to attend summer music programs. She is a student at Bow High School and plays the bassoon in the concert band. She also sings and plays other instruments in other ensembles. She will attend UNH’s Summer Youth Music School.

Christopher Baxter received the excellence in local reporting award and $10,000 prize from The Livingston Awards For Young Journalists, the top national honor for journalists under age 35. He works as a reporter at The Star-Ledger newspaper in New Jersey.

Gregory Brown, a member of the Bow Fire Department, completed firefighter recruit training program at the New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord.

Emma Mulvaney earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.

Elliot Haas, son of William and Holly Haas, will attend the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada in the fall.

Thomas Webster was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. He is a junior global supply chain management major.

Luke Ollila earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston College.

Emma Nelson was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.

Brian Varnell earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.

Bryce McAllister, son of Melissa McAllister, graduated from Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Mass. He will attend Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. to study musical theatre in the fall. He was also accepted into Rider’s multicultural student leadership institute program.

Dr. Richard Rosato was installed as delegate-at-large of the New Hampshire Dental Society.

Ashley Clary earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lasell College in Boston. She will attend graduate school at New England College in the fall to study for a master’s in mental health counseling.

Arthur Aznive Jr. received a scholarship from The Freese Brothers Big Band, which will enable him to attend summer music programs. He is a senior at Bow High School and plays the tuba in the marching and concert bands. He will attend UNH’s Summer Youth Music School.
