Lindsey St. Louis received several awards in recognition of her academic, co-curricular and extracurricular accomplishments at the scholars and leaders awards ceremony and commencement at Colby-Sawyer College in New London. She is a graduating senior healthcare management major. She will begin a position in referral management at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Shangyu Yan presented a research paper at the First World Congress of the International Association of Political Science Students in Thessaloniki, Greece. In keeping with the theme on limits of global governance, he presented “Fleeing Motherland: The Ethnic Conflicts and Human Rights Violation Towards the Rohingya Muslim Minorities in Myanmar and the International Interventions.” He is a junior history and political studies major.

Tien Le graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London as a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the honor society of the National Communication Association.

Nicholas Ciarlante, Rebecca Ferman, Cong Geng, Hang Nguyen and Alexander Scribner received the business Capstone Award from Colby-Sawyer College in New London for their management of Stelaire, a fictitious airline.

Kim Lloyd, assistant swimming/diving coach at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, received the Jean Freeman scholarship from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

Taylor Owen was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. Owen is a sophomore economics and business major.
