Allenstown School District SAU #53 welcomes a new leadership team to the Allenstown School District for the 2014-2015 school year. Principal at Allenstown Elementary School is Anthony Blinn. Principal at Armand Dupont School is Mark Dangora. Special Education Administrator is Kathleen Murphy.

Kristen Seaman was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University at Albany in New York.

Nathaniel Hart earned a bachelor’s degree in communications technology from the New England School of Communications (NESCom) in Bangor, Maine.

Matthew Breuer was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. He is a marine engineering technology major.

ANDOVER

Kim Laro received the Sandra C. Labaree award from the New England Division of the American Cancer Society for her volunteer work.

Andal Sundaramurthy of Two Mountain Farm was accepted into the two-year Journeyperson program of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH).

Anthony Stohlberg was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Maine in Orono.

Kelsey McGettigan was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

Devon Kenney was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

Cody North received the first Meredith Village Savings Bank Culinary Arts Center scholarship. He will attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.

Austin Wilder received a student broadcaster scholarship from the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters. He is a student at Emerson College.

BOSCAWEN

Jeremy Demers was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Bridget Tevnan received honors for the spring semester at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

Emily Samaha, daughter of Catherine Samaha and Jon Samaha, earned her MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She is now a resident physician in the Tufts Family Medicine Residency Program.

Kathryn Barry, daughter of Robert and Sandra Barry, earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. She will attend Duke University Law School.

Robert Dorey earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.

Steve Dandy, son of Bob and Peg Dandy, was selected to umpire the 2014 Little League Pennsylvania State Tournament, 10-11 Baseball Division, which was played in Dillsburg, Pa. July 25 through Aug. 2.

Samuel Watkins earned his Juris Doctor, law degree from Marguette University in Milwaukee, Wis.

Caitlyn Griffin was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. She is a junior finance major.

Stephanie Strong, daughter of Russell and Natalia Strong, earned honors for the spring semester at Skidmore Colleeg in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She is a junior.

Eric Kipperman, son of Jeff and Linda Kipperman, will attend Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. in the fall.

Esther Cleary, daughter of Rebecca and Charles Cleary, is part of an eight-student team working on organic synthesis methodology this summer. She is a senior at Hamilton College.

Allison Pinski, daughter of Patricia and Dennis Pinski, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. She is a political science major.

Larissa Chassman earned a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. She was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

Alexander Baier, son of John and Anne Baier, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Sarah Large, daughter of Terrance and Christine Large, earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Ellen Attorri earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. She was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

Molly McDonald earned a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

Taylor Grip was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She is a senior.

James Challender, son of Jim Challender and Lisa Challender, will attend Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. to study mechanical engineering.

Allison Baier received the General Russell E. Dougherty National Leader of the Year award from Omicron Delta Kappa. She is the outgoing president of the Omicron Delta Kappa chapter and a senior at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

Leah Forrest received a $5,000 college scholarship as a recipient of the Unitil Scholarship Fund of Unitil Corporation. She plans to study electrical engineering at Cornell University in the fall.

Jacqueline Laboe was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services University in Boston.

Derek Gallagher received a $500 scholarship from Cobb Hill Construction, Inc. He will attend the UNH Thompson School of Applied Sciences to study construction management.

Abbie Trombly, daughter of Mike Trombly, general manager at WJYY-FM, received a Families in Broadcasting scholarship from the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters. She attends Franklin Pierce University.
