The ideal candidate will have completed or is in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in music; be an effective leader who is able to lead children, youth, and adults; takes the initiative to introduce ideas and is willing to try new ideas from others; can teach music to choirs; and is open to a variety of music traditions. Free Tai Chi
In honor of Senior Month in September, all Tai Chi classes are offered free at the Senior Resource Center, Horseshoe Pond Place, 26 Commercial St. Senior-safe, senior-friendly classes are Monday mornings 9:30 a.m. and Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m. (different starting times for one-hour sessions). Help the Scouts
Girl Scout Troop 22386 will hold a car wash Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Arnie’s Place to fund its trip to Rocking Horse Ranch in Highland, N.Y. in October. The Girl Scouts are short by only $600 for its trip. The car wash will be held rain or shine.
