Center for the Arts thanks supporters

Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts is a growing organization, thanks to the community, its members, business partners and dedicated volunteers. CFA began with a goal of supporting existing cultural events, artists and arts organizations, as well as bringing new no-cost arts programs to the community, thus creating our online calendar of local arts events, our website with resources for the community, and our series of free First Friday events. On the first Friday of each month, CFA hosts a series of free arts programs, including gallery openings and receptions, Classical and Folk Music Nights, Literary & Poetry Nights, as well as Theater Nights. The Lake Sunapee region is rich with creative talent. We are proud to showcase this talent through our programs as a benefit to the residents and visitors to our beautiful region.

As we grow, the Center for the Arts wants to take a moment to thank all individuals and small businesses who continue to support our mission.

To our sponsors: Lake Sunapee Bank, M.J. Harrington & Co., Old Hampshire Designs, Four Seasons – Sotheby’s International Realty, Connolly Law Office, Kearsarge Magazine, Graze Sustainable Table and Tatewell Galleries.

To the businesses and organizations who have collaborated with us throughout 2014 to bring our First Friday events to the community: The New London Inn, ZeroCelsius Wealth Studio, The Banks Gallery, Lake Sunapee Bank, Lake Sunapee Protective Association, The New London Barn Playhouse, Summer Music Associates, The Kearsarge Chorale Chamber Singers, Kearsarge Conservatory of Performing Arts, the CFA Literary Arts Guild, Colby-Sawyer College, The Millstone Restaurant, Country Houses Real Estate, The Kearsarge Community Band, The Hopkinton Town Band and The New London Hospital.

Thank you also to our volunteers, friends and judges who give generously of their time and talent, to the InterTown Record and to our loyal members and donors for their continued support.

Most importantly, we wish to thank the town of New London and the Recreation Department for our partnership which allows us to bring quality arts programs to the community. We look forward to collaborating on future art, music, theater, dance and literary events, including our classes and workshops in Whipple Hall, to begin this fall.
