Erin Sisk and Jared Hawkins were married June 15 at Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont, Mass. Emily Lodish, justice of the peace, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Mary Jo Grossman of Newton, Mass., was matron of honor. TJ Peeler of Washington, D.C., and Rachel McDonnell of Cambridge, Mass., were bridesmaids. Carina Grossman of Newton, Mass., niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Julian Rosado of Quincy, Mass., and Andrew Rodgers of Somerville, Mass., were best men. Jason Hawkins of Brooklyn, N.Y., brother of the groom, was a groomsman.
The bride, daughter of SueEllen Parrot of Maryland and Marcus and Nasrin Sisk of Maryland, graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Md., and earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is an instructional designer at Boston University Office of Distance Education.
The groom, son of Brian and Elly Hawkins of Henniker, graduated from Longwood High School in Middle Island, N.Y., and earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a doctorate from Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a research fellow at Harvard Medical School.
The couple took a wedding trip to California and lives in Jamaica Plain, Mass.
