Bulbs for sale
Merrimack County Conservation District’s annual bulb sale fundraiser has begun, offering daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, iris, alliums and specialty bulbs. All bulbs have a hardiness zone of at least zone 5, down to zone 2, to ensure that they will survive New England winters.
Orders will be taken through Sept. 11. Pickup will be held Oct. 3 from 1 to 6 p.m. and Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the district’s office, 10 Ferry St., Suite 211, Concord.
