Walking map

The Meredith Village Pathways Committee has reprinted the Meredith Village Historic Walking Map, a self-directed tour of downtown Meredith and its landmarks. It is available at the Meredith Town Hall, Meredith Library, the community center, the Chamber of Commerce and the Meredith Historical Society.

The free, self-guided historic walking map, intended to be used by residents and visitors, presents a pictorial history and describes sites along Main Street and the waterfront area.

Guided tours led by the Village Pathways Committee will be announced in the fall.

Alzheimer’s walk

Volunteers are needed for the Alzheimer’s Association Central New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sept. 28. Help is needed with the pre-walk preparations, hanging posters or distributing flyers.

The walk will begin and end at Arms Park in Manchester.

Money raised by Walk to End Alzheimer’s helps to provide care and support for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer’s and to fund Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

To volunteer, visit alzwalkMANH.org and click on Central New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s, then click on “Volunteers.”
