Flu immunization clinic to be held Sept. 23

The Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association will hold a public seasonal flu immunization clinic Sept. 23 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Community Room at the Penacook Community Center. The cost is $25; however, if you have insurance through a Medicare Advantage Plan, Medicare Part B, Medicaid, Harvard Pilgrim or Anthem (prefix of NHN, NHP, YGG, EHH or Federal), Concord Regional VNA will bill for the immunization (you must have your insurance ID card with you at the clinic). ∎ The historical society will meet Wednesday at the Rolfe House, 11 Penacook St. The potluck supper will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the annual meeting with the election of officers.

∎ The Merrimack Valley and Andover school boards are searching for a new superintendent of schools. Community meetings will be held in each town e_SEnD Andover, Boscawen, Loudon, Penacook, Salisbury and Webster – to hear community members’ thoughts and ideas on the attributes of a superintendent. The first meeting will be held Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. at Merrimack Valley High School.

Sporting expo to be

held at Fish and Game

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a sporting expo to coincide with National Hunting and Fishing Day on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the headquarters on Hazen Drive. Admission is free. The expo will include 50 exhibits featuring hunting and fishing related products and services.
