Concord Public Library is recruiting for several volunteer positions for one to three hours per week: homework helper for teens, program volunteer, data entry volunteer, and building volunteer. S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc., a geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing firm, is accepting entries for its “Dig Into Science” contest. The contest is open to students in first through 12th grades. Eight winners will be awarded $1,000 each, to be used to attend a science, technology, engineering or math related field trip.
