Many years of service

Ida Harris of Franklin, a volunteer at the New Hampshire Veterans Home for 25 years, receives a citation signed by Gov. Maggie Hassan honoring her many years of service at the home from Thomas Hassan, New Hampshire’s First Gentleman, during a ceremony last Friday at the Tilton facility. Thomas Hassan visited the veterans home as part of his tour in support of HelpOut New Hampshire, a statewide initiative he started to promote the spirit of volunteerism. Harris has recorded more than 22,500 hours of volunteer service.
