Planting roots at the Hall Memorial Library

Maggie McCall (left) Kelly Finemore, Ralph Perreault, Ken and Bonnie Randall, Kate Driscoll and Tom Marhan take a moment to pose in front of Hall Memorial Library in Northfield before planting a Green Mountain sugar maple tree, purchased through the donations of the library’s patrons. Driscoll and Marhan, employees of Scott Burns’ Landscaping of Meredith, delivered and planted the tree. Scott Burns ordered the tree and loaned Driscoll and Marhan a truck and trailer to deliver it. Driscoll and Marhan volunteered their own time to plant the tree and Driscoll spent many additional hours coordinating the man and machine power it took to pull this together.
