BOW

Connor Rossignol, 18, completed a 77-day wilderness expedition traveling in New Zealand with the National Outdoor Leadership School.

Stephen Harmon, specialist and son of Christina Harmon and the late Stephen Harmon, returned from a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan. He is a mechanic with the 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade attached to the 1st Armored Division based at Fort Bliss in Texas.

KELLI KILLION joined SAU 24 as a part-time literacy coach. She is a graduate of Stonehill College. She is also a part-time reading teacher at Center Woods Elementary School in Bow.

CONCORD

Kerry Fay joined SAU 24 as a part-time transition coordinator. She graduated from Keene State College and has a master’s in administration and supervision.

CONTOOCOOK

EMILY BOGART, daughter of Amy Bogart, received a scholarship from Harris Lodge 91 F. & A.M. She is studying at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt.

HENNIKER

MIKE MUZZEY joined SAU 24 as a technology coordinator for Center Woods Elementary School and Weare Middle School. He is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology in Rhode Island. He previously worked in the I.T. department at John Stark Regional High School.

Jill Hartman joined SAU 24 as a part-time specialist in the assessment of intellectual functioning. She is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and has a master’s degree from Rivier University, where she is working on a doctorate.

KEVIN FEDERICO joined SAU 24 as a technology coordinator for Center Woods Elementary School and Weare Middle School. He is a graduate of Northeastern University.

PATTI OSGOOD joined SAU 24 as the community outreach coordinator for the five schools in the four districts of SAU 24. She holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.

LACONIA

Laura LeMien is the new registrar at Lakes Region Community College, succeeding Kalene Barney, who has become the college’s Running Start coordinator. Lemien served as assistant registrar at the college from February 2000 to February 2005 before going into human services.

DAN CARON was named Civil Air Patrol Teacher of the Year. He serves as the director of
WinnAero’s Aviation Career Education Academy at Laconia Municipal Airport in Gilford. WinnAero is a youth-based aviation organization that promotes science, technology, engineering and math through the use of aviation.

SANBORNTON

Sarah Racicot, daughter of Dr. Paul and Margo Racicot, earned a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass. She also studied German and Russian and earned two language prizes.

TILTON

Jenna Sutcliffe was named Commended Student in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program. She attends Sant Bani School.
