Come watch Concord Crew rowers join six other schools for the first Water Works Challenge regatta today on Lake Massabesic in Manchester. The regatta will start at 8:30 a.m. and finish with an awards ceremony at 12:45 p.m. Rowers will compete in 15 races down a 3-mile course. The event is free. A recommended viewing location is Massabesic Park, 16 Londonderry Turnpike.
A reminder for individuals and families to complete forms for fuel assistance. If you haven’t received your application or if you think you may be eligible, call the Community Action Program at 524-5512 for an appointment. If your rent includes heat, make sure your landlord applies it to your rent. The new guidelines are: a family of three making $3,011 a month may be eligible for assistance; it increases in increments.
If your child is eligible for reduced or free lunches, you could be eligible to make use of community services.
