Cleaning up

The Students Conservation Association New Hampshire Corp. hosted a service day on Sept. 28 in conjunction with the Allenstown Historical Society to clean up eight historic sites in Allenstown and Bear Brook State Park. The public was also invited to help with the pulling of weeds, clearing trails and removing debris from the sites. Participants included Jeremy Burns; Zack Seaton; Clare Croteau; Claire Dedrick; Matt Kostle; Emily Barry; Teresa McNanece; Grissobel Castro; Spencer Campbell; Andrew Post, team leader of the SCA N.H. Corp.; Kathy Turmball; Marie Kelly; and Armand and Claudette Verville, Harriet Bean, Carol and Richard Merrill, and Valarie Merrill of the Allenstown Historical Society. Afterward, they gathered at the Old Allenstown Meeting House for a tour.
