Teenager to raise money for boy with palsy

Teenager Brandon Richardson’s Merrimack Valley High School senior project is the “Border to Border Run for James.” Richardson will run from the Canadian border to the Massachusetts border Nov. 15-17. The run is to raise money for a 6-year-old boy with very severe palsy; he is unable to live a “normal” life.

Richardson hopes to gain funds and support as he runs. He has sent letters to area schools informing them of his plans, hoping these schools will come out to run with or support him within their town limits.

Richardson will also hold a spaghetti dinner Nov. 9 at Boscawen Town Hall to raise funds. All are welcome to attend.

Richardson is a very goal-orientated person and I wish him luck.
