The holiday parade will be held on Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. The parade will begin at Wyatt Park, continue down Main Street, and end at the historic train station in Veterans Square with the lighting of the Christmas tree.
Registrations are being accepted for those that wish to participate. Last year, 70 floats and marching bands participated in the holiday parade and several thousand viewers lined the streets of downtown Laconia.

Body & Spirit Day Spa, 254 N. State St. in Concord, along with the Loudon Food Pantry, will be collecting nonperishable food, such as stuffing mix, cake mixes, gravy, pumpkin pie fixings, cranberry sauce and more for the holiday gift baskets to be distributed to those in need.
Donations can be dropped off at either location through Dec. 10. Body & Spirit will take $5 off any service when your contribution is made.
The annual New Hampshire Open Doors shopping and touring event will be held Nov. 2-3 with more than 200 New Hampshire artists, craftspeople, cultural organizations, retail shops, wineries, farmstands, restaurants, lodging establishments and businesses showing their best and providing a fun tour of the state for the entire family.
