Community support

A huge thank you goes out to the community for their support at the Community Action/T.R.I.P. Senior Center Halloween event, which was held Saturday in Franklin. This year, a record-breaking 350 children from Franklin and surrounding towns attended. We offered cookie decorating, face painting, make-and-take crafts, and more.

A special thank you goes to the Franklin Police Department for providing goody bags, McDonald’s Restaurant in Franklin for providing drinks, Walmart in Tilton for donating generously for supplies, the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department for the pumpkin decorating table, as well as the following individuals who gave their time: Doris Bonner, Bev Freeman, Joanne Trottier, Diane Metayer, Betty Aldro, Ginna Allison, Lois Porter, Dot Marceau, Irene Pescinski, Jade Wentworth, Andrew Florence, Charlene Fulcher, Tom and Kathy Charbano, Carol Dionne, Joe Gurl and Clayton Gassett.

This event would not have been possible without this kind of support.

NANCY MARCEAU, director, T.R.I.P. Center
