The Franklin Visiting Nurse Association’s hospice program is holding its annual wreath fundraiser. Wreaths of various sizes, kissing balls, balsam garland and other greens are available to order through Nov. 15, with delivery in time for Thanksgiving.

Concord Christian Academy will hold its dessert extravaganza and silent and live auctions Nov. 15 at the National Guard Armory. Admission is free. The silent auction will be at 6 p.m. and the live auction will be at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 496-5839.

American Red Cross New Hampshire Region is seeking nominations for the 2014 Heroes Breakfast, which recognizes and honors outstanding individuals or groups in the state. These people have made a difference in the lives of others by performing acts of courage, or selflessly giving their time and efforts in order to benefit others. To nominate your local hero, visit redcross.org/nh and submit your nomination by Dec. 2. The breakfast will be held March 6 at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.
The American Red Cross New Hampshire Region also welcomes any business or individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities for the breakfast.
The annual Service Credit Union Food to Families food drive to benefit local food pantries will run through Nov. 18. Members and nonmembers are invited to drop off nonperishable items into any food donation boxes at a local Service Credit Union branch location during regular business hours.
