Larry Houle received the Hank Why volunteer award from the New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro. He is a volunteer photographer; his photos are used to document events, as well as for publicity, the website, the museum’s newsletter and for special publications.

LOUDON

Elizabeth West, daughter of Gary and Micheline West, was recognized for outstanding volunteerism and dedication to her community through the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. She is a freshman at Merrimack Valley High School. Her project raised awareness of the dangers of sun exposure. She also earned a Silver award from the Girl Scouts for her efforts.

PENACOOK

Emily Dziura, daughter of Charles and Deborah Dziura, was recognized for outstanding volunteerism and dedication to her community through the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. She is a freshman at Merrimack Valley High School. She took on the project of reaching out to the elderly patients of Merrimack County Nursing Home, visiting twice per week for seven months, and continues to do so.
