36-hour tread-a-thon

Anytime Fitness Northwood is holding a food drive/fundraising campaign to help support local food pantries for 36 hours straight, starting at 6 a.m. on Thursday through 6 p.m. on Friday. Members will walk (in 30-minute shifts) nonstop on a club treadmill during that time. In recognition of the effort put in by members, at the end of the 36 hours co-owners Rebecca and Dennis Capo will write a check for $360 to the Northwood Food Pantry. Fellow members, as well as nonmembers, are invited to drop off nonperishable food items as part of the event. For more information, call 942-6027 or visit
