Coal’s future

A public forum will be held tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. by Citizens for Clean and Fair Power, elected officials, experts and community leaders to discuss the coal-fired Merrimack Station, and the future of coal in New Hampshire. Vegan cookbook

The New Hampshire Spaying and Altering Service is offering a gourmet vegan cookbook for sale called Cooking With Compassion to raise money for its low-cost spaying and altering program for dogs and cats. The book costs $20 postpaid. For more information, call 224-1361.
