Outreach session

Fish and game

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a biennial hearing tonight at 6 at its headquarters at 11 Hazen Drive to give the public an opportunity to offer input on any aspect of department operations.

Those who are unable to attend the hearing may send written comments or suggestions by Dec. 18 to (put “biennial hearings” as the subject line), or write to Executive Director, N.H. Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord 03301, or fax to 271-1438.


Value of giving

As part of its annual “Give the Gift of a Great Future” campaign, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America is helping parents to instill the value of giving in their children. Interactive ways to give are available online at Great and at Bon-Ton department stores.


Safe sitting

Concord Parks and Recreation will offer a “Safe Sitter” course for youth ages 11-14. The course will teach the responsibilities and qualities of a good babysitter and what to expect from the person who hires you. The class will be held Jan. 7, 9, 14 and 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Heights Community Center (formerly Dame School). For more information, visit or call 225-8690.
