C.A.V.E.S. helps out On Monday, Oct. 6, about 12:30 a.m., the Franklin police and fire departments responded to South Main Street (Route 3 South near the Daniel Webster Farm) for a serious vehicle crash. Within minutes of arriving, it was determined that one of the drivers was deceased in the vehicle. It took rescuers nearly 15 minutes to extricate the second driver from his heavily damaged vehicle.
