Announcements: Soup supper benefits Friendly Kitchen

CONTOOCOOK Soup’s on! 3 on Main, 905 Main St., is hosting Soup for Supper on March 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. to benefit the Friendly Kitchen in Concord. Rick Murphy, a local potter and surgeon, donates the proceeds from his Helping Hands Pottery to the kitchen. For this event, he will donate all of the soup bowls. The cost of the event is $30, including the special bowl. RSVP …

On Feb. 7, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy hosted the 2015 Special Olympics of New Hampshire Seacoast Area Winter Games. A proud tradition for about a decade, these games were finally held again after three years of cancellation due to lack of snow and poor field conditions.
