Heidi Desmarais and James Smith were married Oct. 12 at Trinity Baptist Church. The Rev. Brian Fuller performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her mother and three siblings.
Nicole Desmarais of Concord, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Kara Pierce of Virginia Beach, Va., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Kim Bilodeau of Milton; Jessica Brondyke of Hampton, Ga.; Andrea Welborn of Greenville, S.C.; and Melissa Adair of Mystic, Conn., were bridesmaids. Arden Pierce, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Paul Beardmore of Carlisle, Pa., brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Tim Kautzmann of Wormleysburg, Pa., brother-in-law of the groom; Tyler Smith of Chichester, brother of the groom; and Justin Smith of Chichester, brother of the groom, were groomsmen. Carsten Pierce, nephew of the bride, and Calvin Beardmore, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.
The bride, daughter of Karen Desmarais of Concord, earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., and is working toward a mater’s degree in communication science and disorders at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. She is a speech-language assistant at Bow Elementary School.
The groom, son of Andy and Deborah Smith of Chichester, attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He works for Northern Estate and Home Management in Wolfeboro.
The couple took a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and lives in Penacook.
