Rachel Steenbergen and Brian Jones were married Nov. 24 at Ashworth by the Sea. John Vidaver, justice of the peace and stepfather of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Eric Steenbergen and his longtime partner, Donna Deoss, and by her mother and stepfather, Kathleen and John Vidaver.
Ashley Lyon, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Starsea Deoss, Rebecca Dutcher and Jillian Byerhoff were bridesmaids. Olivia Lyon, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Tyler Jones of Dover, brother of the groom, was best man. Derek Dutcher of Concord, Eric Holleran of Concord and Timothy Sharpe of Concord were groomsmen. Ashton and Eli Lyon were ring bearers.
The bride, daughter of Eric Steenbergen and Donna Deoss and Kathleen and John Vidaver, all of Concord, earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of New Hampshire and works in the circulation department at the Concord Monitor.
The groom, son of Peters and Diane Jones of Concord, earned a bachelor’s degree in childhood education from Plymouth State University and is a Title One math specialist at Ashland Elementary School.
The couple took a wedding trip to Jackson and plans to take an extended wedding trip this summer to Lake Harmony, Pa. They live in Concord.
