Abbey Braden and Simon Raymonde were married March 9 at the Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif. Dr. Norm Mowery performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The reception was held at La Playa Carmel.

Maria Porcaro of New York was maid of honor. Emily Baughman of North Carolina, niece of the bride, was a bridesmaid. Beryl Braden of Arlington, Va., niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Dave Allison of England was best man. Cameron Cook of New York was a groomsman.

The bride, daughter of Lawrence and Kathleen Braden of Concord, attended St. Paul’s School and Pratt University. She is a radio host and DJ with Virgin Mobile in New York City.

The groom, son of Nita Raymonde and the late Ivan Raymonde, is the owner and producer of Bella Union Recording label.

The couple took a wedding trip to Bari, Italy. They will spend time in both London and New York City, as well as follow music festivals around the world.
