Rebecca Rose and Devin O’Connor were married May 18 in Durham, N.C. The Rev. Thomas Bodkin performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her mother.
Lucy Melcher of Washington, D.C., was maid of honor. Arwen Decostanza of Wilmington, Del.; Kara Rademacher of New York; Allison Soler of Charleston, S.C.; and Daryn Stylianopoulos of Boston were bridesmaids. Emma O’Connor and Olivia O’Connor of Concord, nieces of the groom, were flower girls.
Brendan O’Connor of Concord, brother of the groom, was best man. Dylan Allen of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Michael Gogolen of Greenwich, R.I.; Geoffrey King of Washington, D.C.; Benjamin Mann of Washington, D.C.; and Gregory May of Cambridge, Mass., were groomsmen.
The bride, daughter of Margaret Rose of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Wake Forest University and a master of public policy degree from Duke University. She is a senior analyst for the Government Accountability Office in Washington, D.C.
The groom, son of Arlene O’Connor of Concord and the late Thomas O’Connor, earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Boston University and a master of public policy degree from Duke University. He is an examiner for the Office of Budget and Management in Washington, D.C.
The couple took a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and lives in Washington, D.C.
