Bridget Shea and Adam Shirlock were married Sept. 7 at the Shirlock’s camp on Keeler Bay in South Hero, Vt. Nancy Fraher, justice of the peace and longtime friend of the groom’s mother, performed the double-ring ceremony.
Katie Sullivan of San Diego, Calif., was maid of honor.
Justin McCarthy of Burlington, Vt., was best man.
Readings were given by the bride’s sister-in-law, Stephanie Shea, and the groom’s sister, Cara Shirlock. The couple’s dog, Chloe, was a featured guest at the ceremony and reception.
The bride, daughter of Kevin and Kristen Shea of Shelburne, Vt., graduated from both the University of New Hampshire and the University of Vermont and is a registered dietitian for the Community Health Team at FAHC.
The groom, son of Milton and Dana Shirlock of Dunbarton, graduated from the University of Vermont and is a builder in the Burlington, Vt., area.
The couple lives in Georgia, Vt., plans to honeymoon in Spain and Italy in May.
