Amy St. Jacques and John Joyce were married Aug. 31 at The Margate Resort in Laconia. Claudette Welch, justice of the peace, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, Richard Gumm.
Heidi St. Jacques of Chichester, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Debbie Brenner of Concord, Courtney Marrs of Rochester, Samantha LaChance of Meredith and Oliva Wakefield of Moultonboro were bridesmaids.
Sean Malone of Belmont was best man. Sean Joyce of Moultonboro, brother of the groom, Phil Joyce of Meredith, brother of the groom, Sean Ellison of Concord and Justin Norton of Medford, Mass., were groomsmen.
The bride, daughter of Jo-Anne St. Jacques and Richard Gumm of Concord, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colby-Sawyer College in New London in 2002 and earned a master of business administration in organizational psychology and development from American InterContinental University in 2006.
The groom, son of Barbara Joyce of West Danville, Vt., and the late Stephen Joyce, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 2003. He is an outreach counselor at Riverbend Children’s Intervention Program.
The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
