RAYMOND – It’s been known for years that Christian Serrano can run the ball. The question going into this season was how well Winnisquam’s leading rusher-turned-quarterback could throw it. As it turns out, quite well. Serrano guided the Bears with ease in his varsity debut under center, throwing a pair of touchdown passes in only one half of work to lead Winnisquam to a 39-14 victory over Raymond in the season opener. “We did everything we wanted to do,” said Coach Pat Riberdy, whose team was up 32-0 at halftime and scored the first 39 points of the game. “Today was one of those days …
