Basketball champions The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Concord recently held its men’s summer league championship games. In the A Division championship game, East Concord Grass Roots (pictured, left) completed an undefeated season defeating New Heights Roofing, 93-70. ECGR was led by Jimmy Thorpe (31 points), Coleton Neely (26 points) and Jackson Riel (18 points). New Heights was led by Luis Grullon (23 points) and Jordan Fithian (21 points). In the C Division championship game, Shumway Construction (pictured, right) completed an undefeated season by defeating Pete’s Painting, 74-68.
