HAMPTON – The sun was setting and dusk was approaching to end what had been a quiet afternoon for the Concord track and field team. And then the Crimson Tide’s girls’ distance runners had their say. The Concord girls got 18 of their 33 points in the day’s last six events, netting top-four performances from Erin Waters in the 800-mile run and Cassie Shea and Jennika Mannesto in the 3,200 to lead them to eighth place at the Division I championships at Winnacunnet High School.
