John Stark Regional High School French II students Emma Trumble and Casey Arnold stand in Symphony Hall in Boston in January. More than 60 John Stark students, faculty and staff members spent an evening at Symphony Hall to see a performance of L’Orchestra National de France, an orchestra that is considered France’s musical ambassador.  This cross-disciplined cultural trip was comprised of half French students and half music students. French teacher Patricia Chiquelin was able to get tickets for students and staff at a great discount by working with Celebrity Series of Boston, an organization that believes in the power of excellence and innovation in the performing arts to enrich life experiences, transform lives and build better communities.
