PEMBROKE – The Concord High and Pembroke Academy boys’ basketball teams have squared off in the Capital Area Holiday Tournament on several occasions in the last 10 years, but last night marked the first time since 2004 the neighboring schools have met in the regular season. This border game was back on the schedule because Pembroke moved back up to Division I, but it didn’t feel like a rivalry inside the PA gym. Maybe that’s because Pembroke had back-to-back snow days and the school had a hibernating vibe. Or maybe it was because Concord came into the game 0-6 and the Spartans were 4-4. Or …
