The Coe-Brown girls’ volleyball team needed a tremendous comeback in the third game in order to preserve a sweep over Gilford. They pulled it off, wrapping up a 3-0 victory over the Golden Eagles in Northwood last night. The win pulls the Bears (6-2) into a tie for fourth place in the conference with the Golden Eagles (6-2). The Bears’ frontcourt threesome of middle hitter Emma Easler (eight kills), setter Lacey Locke (11 assists) and outside hitter Abigail Ahern (10 kills) dominated from the opening serve.
