The Concord Community Music School raises its voice and kicks up its heels in celebration this weekend as it marks its anniversary. Things begin tomorrow night with a 7:30 chamber music concert. On Saturday, a string of student recitals make up the day's "Performathon."
The concert tomorrow includes singers Hannah Murray, Andrea Veal and Emily Jaworski, with instrumentation from Stefani Burk, Stephanie Ratté, Abigail Charbeneau and Kathryn Southworth. Music by Bach, Mozart and Schubert will be performed.
The Saturday events include more than 200 students performing from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The music school is open to the public during the day and also features an instrument "petting zoo."
For information and tickets for the concert tomorrow, call 228-1196 or visit ccmusicschool.org. All of the events Saturday are free.
