Jane Hirshfield at Sweeney Hall
Poet Jane Hirshfield, this year’s winner of the Donald Hall-Jane Kenyon Poetry Prize, will read from her works tomorrow night at 7 at NHTI’s Sweeney Hall auditorium.
Hall and Maine’s poet laureate, Wesley McNair, will sign books with Hirshfield after the event. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Hirshfield is the third winner of the prize, which is sponsored by the New Hampshire Writers’ Project, the Monitor and NHTI. The winners are chosen by McNair at Hall’s request.
