What was due to be a vacation week musical theater camp in Hillsboro was shortened to couple of days because of last week’s snow. This left the young people acting in participating in the Hillcat Theatre’s reading of “Shiner Watson” with a productive last day of camp preparing for the performance they delivered on the stage of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church.

The Hillcat Theatre is in its 13th year of offering one or two musical community productions a year along with musical theatre camps for young people between the ages of 6 to 18 in the Hillsboro-Deering and surrounding areas. Past productions have included original musicals from “Alice In Wonderland” and “Oliver!” to “Music Man”.
