If you are traveling west, Route 103 starts in the village of Hopkinton and shoots northwest toward Warner in as close to a straight line as New Hampshire can muster before winding its way toward Lake Sunapee and on to Claremont. Driving through Hopkinton yesterday, I started to notice some of the fun and interesting things that catch your eye while looking out the car window. By themselves they might not be all that interesting, but collectively, I found them intriguing. So, I gave myself a challenge. Over the course of the four miles the road spends in Hopkinton, what could I find that could be seen from the car or standing on the road?
