Donations sought for 6-year-old Franklin boy

Brandon Richardson, the Merrimack Valley High senior who’s planning a 215-mile run to benefit a 6-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, is asking the community for help.

Those wishing to contribute are invited to a spaghetti dinner Nov. 9 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Boscawen Town Hall. Tickets are $20. Visit to purchase tickets or make a donation.

Richardson has masterminded a unique senior project, which calls for a three-day run from the Canadian border to the Massachusetts border beginning Nov. 15.

Money raised will help the family of James Snowden of Franklin, who was born with a severe case of cerebral palsy, moves in a wheelchair and travels in a special van.
