The Insiders: Need to identify a bird? Fret not, Audubon will teach you
We have spent countless hours attempting to identify the frequent visitor to the Insider’s bird feeder with absolutely no success. It has been extremely frustrating to say the least.
But help is on the way. Don and Lillian Stokes, authors of 34 books related to birding and the creators of their very own PBS series, will be at the N.H. Audubon McLane Center tonight at 7 to help fast-forward your bird identification skills and learn how to take the best bird pictures ever. And we’re talking Pulitzer Prize winning.
There is suggested donation of $5 for Audubon members and $8 for everyone else. Prior to the talk, there will be a reception for the Stokeses and a book signing beginning at 6 p.m.
But if you’d rather learn about traveling to a foreign country, then head over to NHTI for its Costa Rica Travel/Study Abroad information night at 6:30 p.m. The nine-day trip in March is open to students and adult travelers. But do all the little details about the adventure, like cost and travel dates, really matter? We’re talking about Costa Rica here.
